چکیده

Abstract Objectives The aim of this study was to conduct a multi-faceted assessment the psychometric properties Self-Compassion Scale (SCS). In addition goodness-of-fit, we aimed assess strength and replicability three factorial solutions, quality effectiveness scoring schemes scale (i.e., total score, two subscale scores, six scores). Methods Participants were 1508 Spanish-speaking community-dwelling adults ( M = 34.94 years, SD 15.02). Data examined by means conjoint strategy using Rasch modeling, non-linear factor analysis, exploratory bifactor parallel analysis. A procedure for selecting optimal set items that must be used compute individual’s scores used. Results unidimensional solution showed marginal model fit (RMSR .089), both two-group six-group solutions good .043 .019, respectively). However, only two-factor interpretable replicable structures, high-quality effective measurement purposes. Subscale derived from primary factors did not show adequate properties. It observed information provided 10 redundant had already been other 16 items. Conclusions Good is neither sufficient nor necessary justify use scheme. Goodness-of-fit statistics should complemented an metric resulting when proposing SCS schemes.

BACKGROUND Dementia is a life-limiting condition that is increasing in global prevalence in line with population ageing. In this context, it is necessary to accurately measure dementia knowledge across a spectrum of health professional and lay populations with the aim of informing targeted educational interventions and improving literacy, care, and support. Screen for child anxiety related emotional disorders: are subscale scores reliable? A bifactor model analysis.

The aim of this study was to investigate the utility of creating and scoring subscales for the self-report version of the Screen for Child Anxiety Related Emotional Disorders (SCARED) by examining whether subscale scores provide reliable information after accounting for a general anxiety factor in a bifactor model analysis. A total of 2420 children aged 9-18 answered the SCARED in their schools...

Predicting risk of 2-year incident dementia using the CAMCOG total and subscale scores.

BACKGROUND being able to identify individuals at high risk of dementia is important for diagnostics and intervention. Currently, there is no standard approach to assessing cognitive function in older aged individuals to best predict incident dementia. OBJECTIVE to identify cognitive changes associated with an increased risk of 2-year incident dementia using the Cambridge Cognitive Examination...
